The most effective manner to ensure that the bubble does not heat up too much in summer and does not cool down in winter is to cover it with a hood. This will ensure that the bubble’s interior temperature is less extreme, meaning that it consumes less energy to heat up or cool down.
Another energy-saving system is the use of geothermal energy to compensate for the air temperature that comes from the motor. That means that the air leaving the turbine is guided below the surface for a minimum length of 10 meters (33 ft) and a minimum depth of 1.2 meters (4 ft). The initial cost of the system is more expensive than the standard installation, but it ends up paying for itself in electricity costs.
